How I show up matters. In every interaction you have with me, I strive to be my best self. That means being prepared and supportive, bringing positive energy, cheering you on, encouraging you to be yourself, and going above and beyond for you.
My goal is to capture your story and your day, how you see it and feel it. I want to be intentional every step of the way so you connect deeply with the photos of you and your person. I consider myself an empath, so I feel like I’m able to connect to other people’s emotions in a way that’s personal and true to you.
My intention is to meet you where you are and capture that. I don’t want you to feel posed or uncomfortable. I actually don’t even want you to be focused on the photos at all. I want you to be in the moment. I want you to be YOU. It’s the genuine emotions and connection that create beautiful imagery.
Sure, there are times when posed pictures are necessary to tell the story, but my main focus is creating intentional spaces for genuine moments to shine through! I’ll give direction and guidance, so you’ll never feel like you aren’t sure what to do. But my photography style isn’t about perfect poses. It’s about the in-between moments when you're just being yourself. That’s the magical stuff!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I’m based in San Diego, CA but am up to traveling wherever you are celebrating, no matter how far it is!
How long have you been a photographer?
I never know how to answer this question because I’ve loved having a camera in my hand ever since I can remember. I started Studio Vieren in 2020, but I’ve considered myself a photographer for much longer than that!
How many images will I receive?
You can expect to receive 75-100 images per hour of coverage. So let’s say you book an hour-long photo session; you’ll receive at least 75-100 images. If you book eight hours of wedding day coverage, you’ll receive at least 600-800 images. I don’t have a set limit on how many photos I’ll edit or give to you. If there’s an image that I think you should have, I’ll edit it and include it. You deserve to have as many images from your day as I can give you!
When and how will I receive my images?
I always deliver preview images within 24 hours. For sessions you can expect 10-12 preview images. For weddings you can expect 25-50 preview images. For engagement, couple and lifestyle sessions, you’ll receive your full gallery within 3 weeks. For weddings, you’ll receive your full gallery within 5 weeks. I deliver all of your images through an online gallery platform. You’ll receive an email when your gallery is ready. It will direct you to a login page and you’ll be able to view, share and download all of your images.
How do payment schedules work?
For both sessions and weddings, I require a 30% retainer to reserve your session or wedding date on my calendar. For couple, engagement and lifestyle sessions, the remaining 70% is due on the day of your session. For weddings, the remaining 70% is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Can I create a custom package?
Yes, my packages are set up so you can customize it for exactly what you need!
What if the weather is bad?
Thankfully, Southern CA is known as Sunny So Cal. But, I’m still constantly checking the weather. We’ll embrace it when we need to and on session days, I’ll reach out if I think we need to reschedule!
What if we need to reschedule or cancel?
Your retainer reserves a specific day on my calendar, so I don’t book anything else on that day. There are times when people reach out for the day you’ve reserved and I have to let them know that I’m already booked. For that reason, your retainer is non-refundable and a new retainer will need to be paid to reserve the new date.
Do you give out unedited images?
I don’t. You’ve probably heard this analogy, but it would be like someone giving you a half-baked cake. No one wants that. A big part of my process is curating and refining the images to tell the story of your day. I spend a lot of time on this part of the process, and editing is part of the art!
What if we’re camera shy?
Trust me when I say, I want you to walk away from your experience taking photos with me forgetting that there was even a camera there. I’m all about having fun and creating moments together. I want you to feel comfortable and exactly how you would if there was no camera there. I’ll be there to guide you and direct you, so don’t worry at all about being in front of the camera!
